Walking Tour: Jewish Roots & The South End

From the 1840s to the 1920s, a vibrant Jewish neighborhood flourished just south of the Boston Common. Our guided walk will take us on a cultural journey past many sites and buildings still standing today. The tour is 2 1/4 hours and covers approximately 1 1/2 miles. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Meet offsite on Hadassah Way and Boylston St. (by the Four Seasons Hotel) located across the street from the Boston Public Garden.
